The CSO will report and advise management regularly on the status of information security, its developments, and cyber risks facing the entity.

The CSO will also perform checks to ensure that the company’s third-party vendors are in compliance with the company’s Information Security requirements. The CSO will also coordinate with management on operational or security incident examination and report accordingly. The client will retain control over all decision-making and implementation processes relating to cyber security.

The cyber security officer (CSO) will provide the following functions on an ad hoc basis:

Support

The CSO supports the management in defining and maintaining the information security policy and control its deployment and monitor the implementation of the information security measures;

Oversight

The CSO can report and advise management regularly, and on an ad hoc basis as needed, on the status of information security, its developments, and risks to the entity;

Third-party compliance

The CSO ensures that the information security requirements are adhered to when using service providers;

Training

The CSO ensures that all employees and third parties accessing information and systems are adequately informed of the information security policy

Incident Management

The CSO can coordinate operational or security incident examination and report relevant ones to the Management Body
