Covid-19 Tax Deferral scheme update
The new closing date for the Covid-19 tax deferral scheme is 15 May 2020, through which scheme a taxpayer can defer the payment of eligible taxes falling due March, April, May, and June 2020.
Tax Deferrals Scheme
Businesses (including self-employed persons) experiencing a significant downturn in turnover and facing cash flow difficulties can apply to defer payments falling due in March, April, May, and June 2020 in respect of VAT, FSS, provisional tax, maternity fund contributions, and social security contributions.
Online applications are to be submitted to Malta Enterprise by not later than 15 May 2020.
