Brunella Bugeja VAT & indirect tax manager

Brunella is the VAT & indirect tax manager within Mazars in Malta. She joined Mazars in 2011 as an accounts assistant working on the record-keeping and the preparation of VAT returns for companies in the retailing, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and financial services sectors. In 2015 she joined the Tax Department as a tax senior assisting clients with their fiscal requirements. Brunella is currently involved in the provision of VAT advice and assistance with the preparation of VAT returns for both local and foreign clients. Brunella subsequently promoted to Manager in 2019.

Brunella completed her ACCA studies in 2015. She also obtained a diploma in VAT compliance. Brunella is an associate member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and an affiliate of the Associations of Chartered Certified Accountants. She is also a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
