Compliance assistant
The successful candidate will form part of the Internal Compliance Team and will report to the Compliance Manager. You can expect to learn, get involved, be empowered, innovate and feel first-hand the valid contribution you are making to our internal operations.
Job description
You will be assisting on a range of tasks, which will include:
• Managing various administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the compliance department.
• Assisting in processes relating to client onboarding and periodic monitoring.
• Conducting reviews of clients' data and assisting with the preparation of compliance reports.
• Performing open-source searches to support compliance investigations and activities.
• Reviewing system generated results of on-going screening and monitoring.
• Conducting any other tasks as may be required.
Qualifications
You are a team player and self-motivated. While previous experience in compliance and AML is not a requisite, you are willing to learn and have an analytical mind as well as an eye for detail. You are meticulous, organized, possess excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure and on own initiative. You possess excellent English spoken and writing skills, be computer literate and have experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
