Audit Senior

As an audit senior, you will be assisting the audit manager and will be leading audit projects with a broad range of clients, covering a number of sectors - sizes ranging from owner-managed businesses up to fully listed companies.


Reporting to the Audit Manager and/or Audit Partners, the responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Audit Managers with the planning of audit and identification of risk areas
  • Undertake statutory audits of financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and Accounting
  • Preparing financial statements in line with IFRS/GAPSE/GAPSME
  • Lead and co-ordinate audit projects and audit teams
  • Provide feedback to audit assistants on audit work assigned to them
  • Actively manage the client relationship
  • Continuously develop the technical skills of audit assistants

Educational & Work Experience Background Required

Fully qualified professional – ACCA and/or Masters in Accountancy

Study Incentives

Five working days plus the day of the exam as special leave with pay are given for every ACCA first sitting; a second sitting will only entitle the candidate to the day of the exam. Successful completion of each sitting will entitle the Employee to an increase in salary from the beginning of the month in which the result is received – there are two scales, one for the ACCA Foundation subjects and one for the ACCA Professional subjects.

Working Hours

40 hours, Monday to Friday, between the core hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm with the possibility to work flexible hours, as early as 7 am and as late as 9.30 am
