Mazars, in collaboration with King’s College London, is pleased to be hosting the Mazars Annual International Tax Conference: The Future of Tax, What is next?
We were delighted to welcome approximately 280 guests at our event which brought together thought leaders and senior representatives from government, business, international organizations and academia to discuss issues including how the international business landscape has been shaped by the tax changes resulting from BEPS, the OECD and EU work and the need to ensure that the corporate tax rules respond to the modernisation of the economy and deliver appropriate results for digital businesses that generate value in unique ways. The morning session included two panel sessions with inspiring speakers: Christer Tønder Bell - Lego, Georg Geberth – Siemens, Tim Power – HMRC, Clive Baxter – Maersk Group, Cory Hillier – IMF, and Jonathan Schwarz – King’s College London.
During the afternoon break-out sessions, Mazars colleagues from 5 continents shared their expertise and provided an unique insight into recent regional challenges for business investing in different regions. The FS session highlighted the latest developments for financial services sector.
The Tower Bridge Walkways was a beautiful scenario for the networking session on 3 October where Mazars entertained 150 clients/prospects and Mazars colleagues. Our guests could enjoy the breath-taking and the magnificent sunset with colourful sky over London City. As a part of Mazars Opera-Gala Sponsorship, an opera singer performed some arias for our guests.
